Seven years ago I stumbled across what I thought was a very cool product. For years I'd gone through the strain of lifting my bikes up to my garage ceiling by hand to hang them from hooks. It was clumsy and awkward and at times dangerous.
When I stumbled upon the Hoist Monster Bike Lift from Racor I just had to have one, then I got one for each of my families bikes. The whole idea intrigued me so much that I eventually ended up contacting the manufacturer about reselling the item. It was a big success for a fledgling small business.
We started by selling this item on ebay and quickly expanded to carry the complete line of products offered by Racor Incorporated.
In 2003 we filed as an official Sole Proprietorship in the state of Washington and in 2004 we incorporated as an LLC in the State of Washington. (WA state UBI number available upon request).
Since 2003 we have operated two other websites, www.BikeHoists.com, our original site, and www.StorageGenie.com. In 2007 we have decided to merge the two websites into an all new website, www.HotShotStorage.com, which is driven by an all new shopping cart system and webhosting service provided by www.Volusion.com.
We felt that it was time for a face lift of sorts and to potentially broaden our horizons beyond the confines of the rather pigeon holed name of www.BikeHoists.com, since we offer quite a bit more now then we did in those early days.
In fact this year we are proud to add several other Manufacturers to our line up, including the complete line of products from www.DeltaCycle.com.
In addition to Racorinc.com and Deltacycle.com's quality products, we will strive to search out great deals from other manufacturers and add them to our product offerings as warranted.
We are based in Vancouver, Washington USA and have almost all of our products shipped directly from the manufacturer / distributors to our customers.
We are an online retailer only and have no physical store presence so unfortunately, in person pickup is not an option (hey it all comes direct from the manufacturer to you, which is one of the ways we are able to save you money)
We strive to provide excellent customer service on all orders and take your business very seriously, our goal is to deliver a great shopping experience to our customers and provide access to quality useful products.
We may occasionally be undersold but we will always try to do right by our customers.
